Job Title: Production & Broadcast Technical Support Specialist, Qatar
The Production & Broadcast Technical Support Specialist supports the day-to-day operation of NU-Q’s media production facilities while assisting with professional production equipment, maintenance, installation, and technical requirements for academic courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operation of NU-Q media production facilities.
- Support still photography and digital cinema production.
- Work with digital cinema cameras from Canon, Sony, GoPro, and RED.
- Support studio and field lighting and grip equipment.
- Work with professional equipment from Arri, Aputure, and ETC.
- Provide technical support for podcast productions.
- Support television and news production activities.
- Perform equipment diagnostics and identify technical issues.
- Carry out required equipment maintenance and installation.
- Support NU-Q faculty with course materials and classroom technology requirements when requested.
Key Requirements and Skills:
- Practical knowledge of professional media production and broadcasting equipment.
- Experience or familiarity with digital cinema and photography cameras.
- Understanding of studio and field lighting equipment.
- Ability to diagnose, maintain, and install production equipment.
