Job Title: V.I.E Electrical Commissioning Coordinator
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate all electrical commissioning activities related to assigned worksite(s).
- Ensure commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with project Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Prepare and maintain all documentation associated with commissioning activities.
- Update and monitor commissioning completion databases and records.
- Ensure commissioning activities progress according to the approved project schedule.
- Report any delays or deviations to the Electrical Commissioning Senior Superintendent.
- Maintain detailed logs of activities and provide regular progress reports.
- Liaise with subcontractors for the execution of electrical commissioning works.
- Verify that subcontractor activities comply with approved procedures, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate activities with Construction Supervisors, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders.
- Support the completion and clearance of punch list items in collaboration with construction teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure all commissioning activities meet project quality and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in electrical commissioning, testing, and startup activities.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and commissioning procedures.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and quality management systems.
- Experience coordinating with construction teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in large-scale industrial, energy, or oil & gas projects.
