Available Position
Lead Engineer
The Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the successful design, implementation, testing, and delivery of technical solutions that meet customer requirements and Emerson quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering deliverables, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), System Design Specifications (SDS), Test Specifications, software coding, hardware design, assembly, and unit testing.
- Review project specifications and prepare compliance matrices.
- Work closely with project managers and engineering leads to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and review technical quotations for project requirements.
- Support engineering teams and back-office resources in delivering project milestones.
- Review and approve engineering documentation and technical deliverables.
- Implement technical system solutions within project and bid timelines.
- Lead hardware and software configuration activities according to customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Emerson quality standards and engineering procedures.
- Lead and independently execute Pre-Factory Acceptance Tests (Pre-FAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to customer expectations.
