Consultant – Flow Measurement / Metering Specialist
SGS Kuwait is looking for a highly experienced Flow Measurement and Metering Specialist to support metering system assessment, calibration, and performance evaluation within oil and gas operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct, witness, and assess metering and proving operations.
- Witness and assess Field Prover calibration using Water Draw and Master Meter Prover methods.
- Ensure compliance with MPMS Chapters 4 and 12 standards.
- Assess metering system performance and troubleshoot measurement issues.
- Identify root causes of metering and instrumentation problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop programs for verification and calibration of instrumentation systems including:
- Temperature instruments.
- Pressure instruments.
- Differential pressure devices.
- Calculate and evaluate uncertainty levels associated with metering systems.
- Prepare detailed technical and assessment reports.
Job Requirements
- Strong experience in flow measurement and metering systems within the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of MPMS standards and industrial calibration procedures.
- Experience with metering instrumentation and proving systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
